  • Personal Life

I am married to the amazing Trey Mims. We have two sweet children, Dru and Imrie. My upbringing and roots are in Conecuh County, Belleville, Al. I graduated from Hillcrest High School in Evergreen, Al in 2003. I attended Southern Union Comm. College on a basketball scholarship. I always wanted to be a teacher, so I was excited to begin college and work towards meeting that goal. Fast-forward to now, and I am still as passionate about putting students first as I was 20 years ago. I am excited to be part of Crenshaw County Schools, where "Excellence through Innovation, Inspiration and Motivation" is at the forefront of the district.
